Zen Ink is a unique tattoo studio located in Asheville, NC. Unlike most tattoo parlors, Zen Ink focuses on a soothing spa-like atmosphere with services such as piercing, energy healing, intuitive readings, and a metaphysical store. It was crucial that the branding, website and atmosphere correctly represent this mood and culture.
The logo combines both elements from the seed of earth and mandala symbols to create a calm yet impactful mark. The symbol speaks to unity, transformation and well-being. Choosing the right color palette was also imperative to give off the right tone of calm and collective. Pairing the correct language and visuals on the website, ads, social media graphics and in-store graphics made this project a success.
